About

Founder Devon Williams PhD.

Devon William is the heart and visionary behind The Canary Affair, and has always seen what others overlook. From his earliest days, Devon learned that compassion is a form of power—and service, a sacred duty.

"What inspired The Canary Affair was witnessing so many walk past those suffering—those with mental illness, poverty, loneliness, and abuse—without offering help. I was taught to see and serve them. And when the time came, I heard the voice say: It is time."

Dr. Williams’ professional journey led him through spaces where silence often surrounded suffering. It stirred a deep responsibility in him. With the same fierce heart as his mother before her, Dr. Williams acted. From giving back through his businesses to aligning with government officials for policy advocacy, he made service not just a part of his life—but his life’s mission.

Every carnival, coat drive, or book giveaway he organizes is more than an event—it is a declaration of love in action. With the support of his customers, community, and faith, she brings dignity and joy to those who need it most. His work is an embodiment of his mother’s echoed wisdom:

"Love All; Serve All."
